All individuals employed as food handlers in Clark County, NV are required to obtain a food handler card (often refered to as a Health Card) before they begin work. In order to obtain a health card, an employee must first watch a food safety video and obtain a Hepititis A vaccination.
Employees who serve or sell alcohol, or work as security guards in alcohol serving establishments, are also required to complete mandatory alcohol awareness training.
